I've always wanted to break my arm or something small like that,
to see if you'd visit me in the hospital.

I've always wanted to accidentily fall asleep next to you,
so that I can wake up before you, and see you asleep, next to me.

I always wanted to get the lead role in one of my plays,
so that you would be more proud and impressed with me than ever and you'd brag about me to your friends.

I always wanted to get in a huge fight with you where it's my fault,
just to see if you'd apologize anyway.

I've always wanted to be able to read your mind, just for a minute or two,
so I'd know how to be perfect, but then I wanted to hear you think that I already was.

I always wanted to write an amazing romance novel that got on the New York Times List,
so that I can dedicate it to you, and teen girls around the world would be jelous.

I always wanted to an amazing photographer,
so that I could fill my wall with beautiful pictures of us.

I always wanted people to be really rude and obnoxious around us,
so that you'd see how decent and caring I was.

I always wanted to be caught in the rain with you,
so that you would ask if I saw Breakfast At Tiffanys, I'd say yes, and well....

I always wanted to get in a really scary situation with you,
so that you'd comfort me, and I'd see how much you cared about me.

I always wanted to be totally freezing even the summer,
just so you'd offer me your sweatshirt.

I always wanted my family to go on a really long vacation,
so that I'd stay at your house and see you all. of. the. time.

I always wanted something tragic to happen to me,
so you could make feel better.

I always wanted to make you a really horrible dinner,
so you'd lie and say you liked it to make me happy.

I always wanted you to tell me not to wear any make-up,
because then I'd know you liked ME, not what's on my face.

I always wanted to playfully hit you,
and have you pretend that it hurt.

I always wanted you to tell me everything you thought about the world,
so that I would understand everything you did.

I always wanted there to be a love song written about us,
but now I'll never get the chance to write it.

I always wanted to write a song where every lyrics was an inside joke,
but I never wrote it, and neither did you.
